Terms and Conditions  

ACCOUNTS
We will open a credit account for you on the basis that payment is made by the 20th of the month following purchase. Your first order will be on a Proforma invoice basis i.e. we will forward an invoice for payment to you before the goods are sent. This will need to be paid in full in advance.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or direct credit. Please contact us for our account details.

Goods remain the property of Furniture Road until full payment received. Please let us know immediately if you are having difficulties meeting our terms.

FREIGHT
Carrier - Check the order while the driver is present - (signing STI does not apply to carries). Any damage, breakages or missing items must be noted on the consignment note and countersigned by the driver. Notify us immediately in writing (fax/email).

Courier - please check that you have the correct number of parcels. If you do not have time to check the consignment please mark the docket STI (subject to inspection). If this is not done we cannot claim for lost or damaged goods. If you have a claim please let us know immediately, keep the goods and packaging and we will arrange for the courier to pick them up.

Carriers and couriers do not accept claims after 7 days.

RETURNS
We must be advised within 7 days of delivery if you are returning goods. Written advice is preferable.

CREDITS
Credits for faulty goods will only be issued when the goods are received back at our warehouse, 62 Bedford Avenue, Wanganui. Please ensure that the detailed paperwork accompanies them.

STATEMENTS AND INVOICES
Invoice/Statements are sent out at the end of every month. A copy of your order will be sent with the goods. This will be checked off and act as your packing slip. If you require an invoice sooner than the end of the month this can be arranged,

PERSONAL PROPERTY SECURITIES ACT 1999
In accepting these terms and conditions, you accept that they constitute a security agreement under s36 of the Personal Property Securities Act 1999, and that we may take a security interest in all goods we may supply to you. You also agree to sign any further documents or provide further information that we may require to register a security interest.

PRICING
Our wholesale prices may vary from time to time due to the fluctuation of the NZD. We will do our best to maintain the current price.
